Prolonged pain

Charmed,
Led on,
Questions unanswered,
Her dreams were all she relied on.

A decision was made;
She departed without a goodbye,
Heart unsettled,
A breakdown closeby,
She embarked on a journey to a new life.

Misery buried her heart,
Suffocated it with the soil of confusion,
Gloom and grief in her deep heart's core,
Tortured her with the hidden truth,
Worry, wonder and ponder,
Was all she could do.

Entangled in a web,
She believed in what she wanted to believe,
Her heart at ease,
But not for long.
What was she trying to achieve?

A doorway stands before her,
Common yet puzzling,
Perhaps a feet or two away,
She tried to reach but it's too far away;
She leaned a little closer,
Bent and reached,
It moves further away.

The thought of walking away pulls her back,
'' It's too hard, it's no point,'' it whispered into her ear,
She tripped at that very moment,
A shot of pain went up her spine,
Drops of blood and tears fell.

Determined, she stood up and stepped on,
She stopped,
Bent and reached,
Still not there,
Another step...

Perfect.
Her fragile hand wrapped around the knob by now,
Open, is all she has to do,
A slight twist and a push;
Her eyes twinkled,
Heaven.

Omg (the 'gosh' version) :P Do not use God's name in vain, I'm melting, the sun's really happy today. More freckles!! I always wonder why I have freckles. why??? I've never seen an asian with freckles, have you? ugh, guess I'll have to apply sunblock for the rest of my life, even when I'm old and wrinkly.

My tragic love triangle:

Mel loves the sun
The sun loves the freckles
The freckles love Mel

Isn't it heart breaking? What shall I do?? I don't wanna spend the rest of my life with sunblock. Wait, I know, I, Melanie Tan, shall invent the first ever anti-freckle cream.muahaha...When that glorious day of mine comes, you freckles will be sorry *evil grin* and my darling sunshine and I shall live happily ever after.
